I’m not sure how many of you are ‘gym rats’ out there and make the quest for fitness a part of your daily routine, but for those of you who are not, it can become pretty easy to get comfortable sitting on the couch during our cold Alberta months. The best tip I can give you is to stay active, or get active (even if it’s not playing golf). You may or may not have noticed the trend on all Professional tours in recent years, but the best players out there also tend to be in great physical condition. We know how important strength and range of motion are in the golf swing and it becomes increasingly more difficult to maintain or increase either from the comfort of the lounger in front of the television. Walk, run, jog or do just about anything to stay active in the off-season… It’s not just good for your golf game, it’s good for your life!
Have fun, Matt Truong
